When can I enroll?

- New Hires: Please check with your Human Resources department for your New Hire eligibility period.
- All Benefit Eligible Employees: Open enrollment
- Call Center hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm EST (call center will be closed on major holidays)

How do I enroll?

- Self-enroll online: go to SPLI Benefits Enrollment Site
- Enrollment assistance, with a Benefits Counselor, over the phone: Call 813-212-6186, during Open Enrollment Call Center hours. Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm EST (closed on major holidays)

Who do I contact if I have questions about the benefits or need assistance with my enrollment?

- Call 813-212-6186 to speak with a Benefits Counselor

When will my new benefits be effective?

- The 1st of the month following the date you enroll.

When is the latest that I can enroll or make changes to my current elections for Open Enrollment?
-
- The last day to enroll or make changes is April 1, 2025. After that, you will not be able to make any changes to benefits until Open Enrollment in 2026 unless you have a Qualifying Life Event (QLE).

What is a Qualifying Life Event?
- A QLE allows you to make certain changes to your benefits outside of the Open Enrollment period.

- Marriage
- Divorce or legal separation
- Death of a spouse or dependent
- Birth or adoption of a child
- Loss or gain of other group coverage
- Status change from full-time to part-time or vice versa
- A significant change in health coverage of the covered employee or spouse’s group coverage
- Entitlement to Medicare
- Losing or gaining eligibility under the Medicaid or State Children’s Health Insurance (SCHIP) programs
